Plans for New Year’s Eve?

First of all, Happy New Year! 2015 has been an incredible ride for ArcZap.



We focused on bringing events to you and finding out what you want. Next year, our resolution is to make it all bigger and better!

We will be celebrating by reflecting on all that we accomplished this year in various places, but what about you?

CWU: 12/31/2015 – New Years Eve Community Celebration

Come on down to Western Town at 8th and Alder (at the Kittitas Valley Event Center) for Ellensburg’s New Years Eve Community Celebration!

Enjoy Live Music – Centaur Midwife, family friendly activities – face painting and balloon man, hot food and drink from D& M Coffee and Cascade Mountain Grilling, Root Beer Saloon, and more from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Fireworks launch at 9:00 pm.

Sponsored by Kittitas County, Ellensburg Daily Record, Windy Chevrolet, Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, and Ellensburg Rodeo.

There is no charge to enter the event!

UW and BC: Wildlights at the Woodland Park Zoo

See the zoo brighter than ever! Seattle’s wildest holiday lights festival returns with sparkling lights and faux snowball fights, Santa, his reindeer and family delights. Parking is free but admission is about $10 a person unless you are a toddler.

Don’t miss this opportunity through January 3rd.

Our New Year’s Eve event features Welcome Bread and Salt with a shot of vodka, a traditional Russian buffet, and a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight.  Dance to the international music of the Bert Carlson Orchestra.

UW and BC: Spots to watch the fireworks

  1. The Needle
  2. Alki Beach
  3. Lake Union and Elliot Bay
  4. Queen Anne Hill

Bring something warm to drink and a blanket to any of these spots.

If a cold, loud night doesn’t sound like your scene, stay home and host a party! Need a last minute guest list? Create your own event on ArcZap!

Pick up some New Year’s decor, find some snack/drink recipes, and you have yourself a party!
